Taman Jurong Citizens’ Consultative Committee (TJ CCC)

The Taman Jurong CCC is the umbrella organisation for all GROs in Taman Jurong. It plans and leads grassroots activities at the constituency level, oversees community and welfare programmes, and serves as a feedback channel between the people and the Government.

Residents’ Committees (RC)
The Residents’ Committees (RCs) were introduced by People's Association in 1978 to promote neighbourliness, racial harmony and community cohesiveness amongst residents within their respective RC zones in Housing and Development Board estates.

In Taman Jurong, we have six different RC - namely Taman Jurong Zone A RC, Taman Jurong Zone B RC, Taman Jurong Zone C RC, Taman Jurong Zone D RC, Taman Jurong Zone E RC and Taman Jurong Zone F RC. These RCs organise a wide range of activities and courses that cater to the needs of both young and senior residents in the area, promoting community bonding and racial harmony events actively. Run by residents for residents, committee members work closely with other grassroots organisations and government agencies to improve the physical environment and safety of the local precinct.


Neighbourhood's Committees (RC)

Neighbourhood Committees (NCs) were formed to encourage residents in private housing estates to serve the community and foster stronger community bonds within their estates, as well as work with various government agencies to improve general well-being of the estate

Lakeside Grove NC was set up in 2000 and serves 180 houses at Lakeside Grove. Please visit for more information.
Lakepoint Condominium NC has been serving residents from - 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 Lakeside Drive since 1998, and is one of the oldest NC in Taman Jurong
Lakeholmz Condominium NC was set up 2010 and serve 6 blocks of residents at 80, 82, 84, 86, 88, 90 Corporation Road.
9 @ Yuan Ching NC serves the residents from Lakeside Apartments and Lakeside Towers since 2010. It's name come from the apartment numbers (9A, 9B, 9C, 9D, 9E,9H Yuan Ching Road) within its precinct.
Caspian Condo NC was formed in 2014. It comprise of six blocks in its precinct - 50, 52, 54, 56,58, 60 Lakeside Drive
Lakefront Residences NC is the latest NC in Taman Jurong which was formed in 2017

Taman Jurong Community Club (TJCC)

Taman Jurong Community Club Management Committee (CCMC) helps the PA to establish, maintain and manage the community club. It promotes racial harmony and social cohesion through the various cultural, educational, and recreational, sports, social and other community activities organised for residents. Taman Jurong CC Indian Executive Committee (IAEC) was set up in 1982. It has been active in promoting community bonding through organising community events, and promotes Indian traditional cultural through events such as the Tamil Festival and Deepavali Show.

Taman Jurong CC Malay Activity Executive Committee (MAEC) helps to promote greater Malay participation in the management and activities of the grassroots organisations. It organises cultural, educational, social, sports and recreational activities to promote harmonious relations between Malays and other communities.

Taman Jurong CC Senior Citzens’ Executive Committee (SCEC) plans and organises a wide array of activities and courses in areas ranging from arts and culture, lifestyle pursuits, lifelong learning to sports and wellness. These provide avenues to enrich the life experiences of senior citizens, pursue lifelong learning, and stay healthy and active.

The Women Executive Committee (WEC) offers opportunities for women from all walks of life to meet, interact and enrich themselves through community service and a diverse range of cultural and recreational activities.

The Taman Jurong CC Youth Executive Committee (YEC) comprises approximately 20 members aged 15 to 35 years old who are elected by Youth Group members to serve the needs of the youth. It collaborates with schools and seeks to engage youth through local and overseas community service projects, life skills and adventure camps, and arts and sports events at both constituency and national levels. Although its main target group is the youth, it also works closely with other Taman Jurong GROs to organise other events that benefit the residents of Taman Jurong.

Taman Jurong Community Sports Club

Taman Jurong Community Sports Club (CSC) fosters community bonding and racial harmony through a wide array of sports activities for Taman Jurong residents to participate: Weekly Mass Walk (jointly organised by RCs), Taman Jurong Sports Fiesta, Badminton, Table Tennis, Basket Ball, etc.  It also sends representatives to participate in the Inter Constituency Games every year.

Taman Jurong T-Net Club

Taman Jurong T-Net Club organises creative learning programmes and sport activities for teenage boys and girls aged between 11 and 16, to expend their energy and develop their potential. Taman Jurong Adventure Club, under the T-Net Club serves as a training platform for teenagers and youths to develop their confidence and leadership qualities through a series of programmes such as camps, sports climbing, kayaking, and dragon boat.

Taman Jurong Community Engagement and Emergency Committee 

Taman Jurong Community Engagement and Emergency (C2E) Committee works in close collaboration with the Home Team to educate the public in civil defence matters. It promotes and conducts basic first aid and civil defence survival skills training for residents, including the Community Emergency Preparedness Programme (CEPP), CD Shelter Management Course, Unconventional Threats Course and Volunteer Leader Course, conducted by HQ 4th Civil Defence Division. A yearly Emergency Preparedness Day will be organised to prepare residents to cope with any terrorist attack through exercises such as emergency water distribution and high-rise fire and evacuation drills, which will raise the level of community emergency preparedness.
